Engaged! Kevin & Emily

Emily has to be one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. She always seems to have a bright smile and exudes calm collectedness. Kevin is a perfect match for Emily. Kevin is the kind of guy who will jog the 10 minute hike back to the car…barefoot…over rocky trail, to fetch something forgotten in the car.

As much as Emily apologized for being disorganized, I don’t think their eshoot could have gone any better. Kevin expertly packed every item on Emily’s list for the shoot: wardrobe changes, fishing gear, drink fixings, and of course Monster and Jinx. And after a long drive, complete with a little doggie mishap in the car, they arrived at Niquette Park to the sun blasting through a stormy forecast. Perfection!

Niquette is a favorite spot of mine where dogs are allowed a little freedom. Emily actually suggested the spot in a search for a place to take some fishing photos. It was meant to be!

Those Hunter wellies will come into play during their wedding at the Grand Isle Lake House in just a few short months. Thanks for looking. If you want to see more you can catch their slideshow by CLICKING HERE.

A couple that is comfortable with each other is always easy to photograph.

And of course Monster (the little one) and Jinx joined in the photo fun.

A perfect spot to test out those wellies.

See what I mean about the smile?

Kevin and Emily did a great job of making the shoot personal. Kevin especially likes to fish and their gear made for some great props. While they were changing a lucky little dragonfly landed nearby. A good omen maybe? And the “Irish” mules (aptly renamed since they substitute Jamison for vodka) helped them keep their cool. I agree about the Jamison:)

A sweet spot for a picnic.

Maybe I should bring drinks to every shoot?!

More fun with the ring. Designed by Matthew Taylor in Shelburne, it was so pretty. I’m digging the rose gold!

A sunny walk on the beach…

Finally, time for fishing!

Emily caught a little seaweed…

…and Kevin got his line tangled. Apparently that’s a typical start to most of their fishing outings!

One last photo with Monster. If the wedding day is anything like the eshoot, I can’t wait!
