Among the many things that I am, I’m a photographer and I love my job! I know that I’m very fortunate to be able to say that, so I work extra hard to make my clients as happy as I am. I started when I was an art major at Syracuse University and knew I loved photography. At the time I didn’t have a clue where it was going to take me. I took a job as an assistant for one of my instructors and got my intro to wedding photography. It was a crazy, fun, stressful, exhilarating job. After that I tried on a lot of different photography hats including custom lab printing and five years as a photojournalist. But I found myself gravitating towards running my own business. What started as something part-time grew and grew and before I knew it I was quitting my newspaper job to focus full-time on my business. Now in my eighth year, I’m still working towards taking my craft and my art to a new level. I love finding new tricks that I can add to my creative toolbox. What am I like? I live in northern Vermont with my husband, our daughter Celia (with another on the way)  and our dog and cat. We’re both native Vermonters and love to hike and rock climb.
